Brussels, 3th of February. The Support Group of the BIP has strengthened with the 8 new member companies from the biomethane value chain.
Starting from January 26 to February 1, all organisations that are a member of one of the five Task Forces of the BIP cast their votes electronically to select the 8 new members of the Support Group. Based on the results of the voting, the 8 new members of the Support Group for the coming 2 years was announced at the website of the BIP in an alphabetical order as:
The new 8 members are valuable additions to the Support Group which previously consisted of 12 companies and the EBA, representing the European biomethane value chain. The group plays a vital role in the Partnership by contributing to the work and deliverables of the BIP, providing co-chairs for each Task Force, appointing members to the Governing Board as well as supporting their decision making, and financially supporting the BIP Secretariat.
